零是一个神奇的数字。它不是正数，也不是负数；它的绝对值是它自己，它的相反数也是它自己；它可以是它内部所含藏的有限空间，也可以是它外延的无垠世界；它可以从任何地方开始，它可以永无结束；它是一无所有，它是圆满无缺。

我们用“零”为剧厂命名，希望打造一片属于波士顿华人的安全、开放的天地。在这里，他们敢于否定自己，敢于抛弃“文化属性”，摆脱冷气，在多元文化中找到新的视角。最重要的是，与我们产生联结的每一位都可以为“零”赋予新的含义。

在零剧厂，我们珍视每一种声音、每一种解读、每一类表达。我们努力让每一位加入的成员获得归属感，在协作中探索内心、释放天性，在重新审视生活点滴的同时看见自我。

    Together we study classic theater performances. The scripts for classic theater performances primarily come from non-Chinese sources, selected and reinterpreted by Zero Theater, presented to the public in innovative forms to explore the commonalities between Chinese and foreign cultures.
